Independent Fabrication

Independent Fabrication, Inc. is a corporation formed and owned by its employees. The beginnings of the company are described in the IF History. The founders were primarily experienced bicycle frame builders. We shared a vision of a company whose ownership was shared by the employees and whose culture provided for participation of all in the significant decisions effecting our work lives.

Santana Cycles

At Santana, where every member of our design team spends an equal amount of time captaining and stoking, we realize the limiting factor of a tandem's performance, and how much it will be enjoyed, is more often than not determined by a stoker's comfort or the captain's ability to maintain control during demanding situations.

Co-Motion

When we started Co-Motion Cycles in 1988 we gave a lot of thought to the name and purpose of our company. "Co-Motion" can mean a lot of things, but what our name means to us is the unique relationship between people and their bicycles: Our bicycles. We want to make this bond between you and your machine stronger. By designing and building bicycles of substance, we're working hard to help you develop that spirit of teamwork whether your Co-Motion is a tandem, road bike, travel or touring bike, or a custom Co-Motion built just for you.

Salsa Cycles

You want performance, and you want it built the way you want it. That's why Salsa Cycles gives you choices--from their ultra-lightweight scandium/aluminum frames (some with carbon bits), to their True Temper OX Platinum steel frames.

Surly

Surly offers framesets and parts of extraordinarliy high funcional quality for their price point, though the paint and graphics tend to be ugly. These frames are pure function, offering more bang for the buck than anything comparable.

KHS Bicycles

KHS Bicycles Inc. was founded in 1974 as an American-based company distributing the KHS brand of bicycles. Its mission is to design, manufacture and distribute moderately priced and high quality bicycles and accessories. Since that time KHS has grown into a brand respected for quality, value, and integrity with distribution in more than 30 countries around the world.

Being a dealer for KHS also gives us the ability to sell Manhattan Cruisers and Free Agent BMX!
